 Queensland watercolour painter Vida Lahey (1882 – 1968) trained in Brisbane and travelled to London in 1915. She later exhibited at the Paris Salon. She returned to Brisbane in the 1920s. Lahey was made a Member of the Order of the British Empire in 1958.
